Starting at the age of 3, EAC students are engaged in music.
General Music Classes at EAC follow an ORFF based curriculum that emphasizes creativity and success through movement, singing and performance on instruments. The after school program at the elementary level also includes guitar and violin classes.
The upper school music program features a comprehensive Music Academy concept that includes full Wind and Percussion ensembles, Jazz, Rock and Contemporary music groups, Chamber Music, Digital music courses, Music History and Theory courses, and a vibrant after school program of private lessons and masterclasses. Our instrumental ensembles perform a wide-range of repertoire that engages students in the study and performance of music that spans more than eight centuries. The program is also enhanced through our Guest Artist program that brings leading musicians to the EAC campus to work with students and perform recitals.
The facilities at EAC feature state-of-the-art V-Room technologies that can recreate acoustic environments from small Baroque halls to Arenas. We are the only facility in Brazil to offer this technology that enhances the student’s musical experience and focuses them on musical success.
The Music Academy features a group of highly-trained and experienced musician/teachers, who guide and mentor the music students at EAC in regular rehearsals, classes and concerts.
