Upper School

The EAC Upper School includes students in Grades 6-12. The Upper School is divided into two sections: the Middle School serving students in Grades 6-8 and the High School serving student in Grades 9-12.

The EAC learning experience in the Upper School is designed to provide students rigorous and relevant dual language curriculum in English and Portuguese. A talented and committed multi-national faculty is committed to challenging all students and strengthening independent learning skills. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (Grades 11-12) prepares students for entrance into competitive universities in Brazil and throughout the world.

The Upper School day begins at 8:00 and ends at 3:20. Following the regular school day, Upper School students have an opportunity to participate in a robust extra-curricular / after school activities program that includes activities in the following areas- Sport, the Arts (visual arts, music, drama), Community Service, Global Citizenship, Technology, Homework Clubs, etc.
