The Admissions Committee will review the completed application and make a decision. If a child is accepted, then the process will move to Step 5 - Matriculation.
EAC will accept children who possess a positive academic history and academic English language skills that meet grade level expectations (Gr. 5-12). There must also be available space in the grade level. If there is no available space in a particular grade level, the applicant will be placed in the “waiting pool”.
The following documents must be delivered at the main office upon matriculation:
Official Transcripts (issued by the school(s))
Repatriating Brazilian students must obtain an apostille stamp for their official school transcript(s) for all years studied abroad. Brazilian students will not be allowed in class while such documents aren't turned in.
Brazilian students, coming from Brazilian schools, must turn in the official school transcript ("Histórico Escolar") from their previous schools. These students will not be allowed in class while such documents aren't turned in.
An applicant will be placed in a waiting pool if there are no spaces in the particular grade level.
While EAC will endeavor to maintain contact with families in the waiting pool, it is important for parents to maintain regular contact with the Admissions Director to express continued interest. Failure to do so may result in the child’s name being removed from the waiting pool.
