EAC is fully accredited by two international school accreditation organizations:

• Council of International Schools (London, UK)
• New England Association of Schools and Colleges (Boston, USA)

EAC is authorized by:

• the American Montessori Society in Preschool
• the International Baccalaureate to offer the Primary Years Program in Grades 1-5 and the Diploma Program in Grades 11-12.
• the Ministério de Educação 

EAC offers a standards-based American program as well as a Brazilian program in Grades 1-12 and students have the opportunity to graduate with an American High School Diploma, a Brazilian Ensino Médio Diploma, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
